A children's book for the babushkas
Le Secret du Vieux Chêne — "The Secret of the Old Oak" — a children's book in French and Russian, written, illustrated and printed in Tbilisi. Every lari it earns goes to the babushkas of this journal.
Follow a little dog with a pink tail as he ventures into an enchanted forest. Written and illustrated by Diana von Polier, the tale carries the hope that goodness and joy always win — and it was beautifully printed in Tbilisi by Prince Giorgi Bagration.
The Tbilisi launch, presented in one of the city's fashionable bookshops, was a great success: so far the book has raised 3,325 GEL, and 100% of the proceeds go to Babushki Sololaki — directly into the monthly support our stars receive.
